JIM JACKSON

Biography:
Jim
Jackson works for the Library and Information Service at
the University of Exeter as a Principal Library Assistant.
He is a member of the National Committee for Affiliated Members
and has been closely involved with the development of the Framework
of Qualifications. Jim is on the FoQ Steering Group and has
also been working on the pilot project for the ACLIP. He
aims to offer practical assistance on completing the required application
forms.

about ACLIP: An opportunity to listen and discuss various aspects
of ACLIP.
Summary:
This session starts with a brief look at the background
to the Framework of Qualifications. There then follows an
introduction to the format of the Certification process, leading
you through the Personal Statement and Development Plans and other
supporting evidence requirements. Both Category 1 and 2 applications
will be focused on. While time does not allow for in depth
analysis it is hoped to give people an introduction to Certification
and its benefits.
