BARRY HOWARTH
Biography:
Barry Howarth is the North Somerset
Healthcare Academy Manager, based in Weston super Mare. He
has worked for the NHS for 8 years and prior to joining, worked
for the British Railways Board in London. Although originally
from Manchester, he now lives in Weston super Mare.

Clinical academy development
Summary:
This talk looks at the development of North Somerset Academy
and the Academy concept in general. North Somerset Academy is an
initiative which provides the local health care community with a
new centre for learning and the opportunity to learn with other
care providers in the area. The library is an important part of
the academy development and the talk will look at how all parts
come together to offer a new type of learning environment.
