partnerships to various groups of librarians and teachers.
In recognition of her IL skills work, she was asked to be her school's

Title:
Partners in Learning: librarians working in
partnership with teachers
Summary:
School librarians are accustomed to thinking about how
to meet the needs of the pupils in their schools, but they shouldn't
overlook the needs of the teachers as educators, as readers, and
as learners in their own right. In order for the library
to support the teaching and learning of the school, it is essential
for the librarian to form partnerships with staff across the curriculum.
This session will explore ways in which librarians can build
these partnerships; and demonstrate how librarians, by meeting the
needs of teachers, can make the library central to all learning
in the school – even that of the teachers!
